How to choose a crypto trading bot

Use the filters above to narrow the directory by bot type, features, supported exchanges and operating system, then open a listing to see pricing, screenshots and reviews. Every active bot in the directory was re-checked in October 2026; bots that have shut down are clearly marked and link to alternatives.

1. Match the bot to your strategy

Grid bots profit from prices moving up and down in a range. DCA bots buy in steps as the price falls to lower your average entry. Signal bots act on TradingView alerts or third-party signals, and copy-trading platforms mirror another trader. Not sure which you need? Read the different types of crypto trading bots.

2. Check exchange and country support

A bot is only useful if it supports your exchange and is available where you live. Some platforms restrict users in certain regions, for example Coinrule currently does not serve EU and EEA customers.

3. Compare total cost

Look past the headline price: check how many bots, exchanges and trades each plan allows, and whether there is a profit fee. Many bots offer a free plan or trial, see free crypto trading bots.

4. Protect your account

Connect bots with exchange API keys that have trading permission only, never withdrawal permission, turn on two-factor authentication, and paper trade a new strategy before risking real money. Read the risks of using crypto bots.
